Nowadays, printing is expensive, consumes a lot of energy and the cartridges, that run out easily, have an elevated cost and high toxicity. That is why we decided to search for new alternatives to traditional printing. Our idea is to achieve a sustainable biological ink.

Our goal
It is known that nowadays color is an important part of our lives. Almost everything that we can see has something that gives it color. Common inks are usually made with artificial substances that are harmful to our environment so, let´s change that!
Who are we?
We are a team of nine High School students, supported by three professional researchers from the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the Complutense University. We are the first High School Team from Madrid to take part in the competition.
